The Polysomnographic technologist works under general supervision of the medical director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including in-center and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and patient education. Key Responsibilities Perform in-center and home sleep apnea testing. Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Provide comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. Maintain and troubleshoot polysomnography equipment. Collaborate with the medical team for patient management. Qualifications Registered in sleep technology or eligible to sit for registry exam within 6 months of hire. Minimum 4 years of experience working with sleep patients. Five or more years of polysomnography experience and RPSGT certification preferred. High school diploma or GED required. State licensure and/or professional certification as required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
