Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in a telemetry unit for adult to geriatric patients. Responsible for managing complex diagnoses and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and other vital signs, responding promptly to abnormalities.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient conditions, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and safety standards at all times.

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 2 years of RN experience in a telemetry or acute care setting.
• Hold valid RN licensure in GA or a Compact state at the time of submission.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NIH preferred.
• Proficient in Epic EMR, Pyxis, and SBAR communication tools.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work night shift (3x12 hours) and float within scope of practice.
