Base pay range $51.00/hr - $57.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Pride Health Clinical Laboratory Scientist – 2nd Shift in San Juan Capistrano, California Now Hiring: Clinical Laboratory Scientist – San Juan Capistrano, CA (Full-Time, Onsite) Schedule: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM PST or 10:00 PM- 6:30 PM (5 days a week) Pay Rate: $49/hr - $57/hr Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform moderate to highly complex clinical testing and analysis at our San Juan Capistrano facility. This is a second-shift, full-time position with responsibilities critical to maintaining high standards of laboratory quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: • Independently perform moderate to highly complex clinical tests • Prepare and evaluate reagents, stock solutions, and controls • Ensure specimen acceptability and calculate results via manual or automated systems • Accurately record test results and maintain turnaround time • Monitor and release routine and complex reports with clinical accuracy • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot lab equipment • Perform quality control, linearity, and accuracy checks • Implement corrective actions for test systems not meeting standards • Supervise and train unlicensed staff; support training programs • Participate in quality improvement and lab meetings • Maintain professional, safe, and compliant lab environment Requirements: • BS in Medical Technology or Life/Physical Sciences from an accredited institution • 0–3 years of direct lab experience (offer rate based on experience) • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand/sit for long periods • Must pass color blindness testing for technical roles requiring color analysis • Physical capability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs regularly; up to 50 lbs occasionally • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and troubleshooting skills This is a contract-to-Possible extension position with potential for permanent employment based on performance and experience.
