Chief Operating Officer (COO) (Hybrid)
We are seeking a dedicated and talented Chief Operating Officer to join our team. In this role, you will serve as ONE/SIZE's senior operating executive and strategic integrator, responsible for translating corporate vision into operational excellence, organizational alignment, and sustainable business growth.
As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the COO oversees all operational and business infrastructure functions, including Supply Chain & Operations, Finance, Human Resources & People & Culture, Business Systems & Technology, Strategic Operations, and Project Management.
The COO is accountable for ensuring the organization operates efficiently, scales effectively, and executes strategic priorities with discipline and accountability. This leader will partner closely with the President and executive team to drive enterprise performance, optimize resources, strengthen organizational capabilities, and create the operational foundation necessary to support long-term growth and profitability.
The ideal candidate is a highly strategic and execution-oriented leader with a proven track record of scaling high-growth consumer brands. They possess strong financial acumen, operational expertise, and the ability to build high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
As a member of the Finance, Operations & People & Culture team, you will collaborate with all teams cross functionally and report directly to President.
HYBRID: This role is classified as exempt from the Fair Labor Standard Act's overtime requirement and is open to candidates based in Los Angeles, CA. While the position is primarily remote, it follows a hybrid schedule requiring occasional in-person work at Culver City, CA 90230. The role requires working in PST hours, so candidates located on the West Coast are preferred. A reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace free from significant distractions are essential for remote work.
What You'll Do:
Essential Job Functions
Supply Chain & Operations
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain management, including demand planning, forecasting, procurement, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, inventory management, fulfillment, and customer operations.
- Develop scalable operational processes that support growth while optimizing efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure operational readiness for product launches, market expansion, and channel growth initiatives.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and third-party logistics partners.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service levels, inventory productivity, and operational performance.
- Lead risk management and business continuity planning across the supply chain network.
Finance & Business Performance
- Oversee Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Treasury, Tax, Audit, Compliance, and Financial Reporting functions.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Drive disciplined financial management and resource allocation.
- Monitor profitability, cash flow, working capital, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with the President and executive team on growth planning, capital allocation, and strategic investments.
- Develop executive reporting and performance dashboards that provide actionable business insights.
- Ensure compliance with all financial, regulatory, and governance requirements.
Human Resources & People & Culture
- Lead all Human Resources and People functions, including Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Organizational Design, and Performance Management.
- Develop talent strategies that support company growth and future leadership needs.
- Build a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous development.
- Oversee succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR policies.
- Champion organizational health, employee experience, and culture-building efforts.
Business Systems & Technology
- Oversee enterprise business systems, technology infrastructure, and operational platforms.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure systems support evolving business needs. Ensure effective management and optimization of ERP, responsible AI tools, inventory management, business intelligence, and reporting systems.
- Establish data governance, business intelligence, and reporting frameworks that enable data-driven decision-making.
Strategic Operations
- Lead enterprise-wide strategic planning and business transformation initiatives.
- Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and organizational scorecards.
- Drive cross-functional execution of strategic priorities and growth initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve organizational efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness.
- Lead organizational redesign, expansion initiatives, and change management efforts. Ensure alignment between company objectives and departmental execution plans.
Project Management
- Oversee enterprise-wide project planning, prioritization, resource allocation, and execution.
- Manage cross-functional strategic initiatives, product launches, systems implementations, organizational transformation programs, and market expansion projects.
- Create visibility into project performance, risks, dependencies, and resource needs.
- Facilitate executive steering committees and project reviews. Drive accountability and successful delivery of critical business initiatives.
Executive Operations
- Lead executive operating cadence, leadership team governance, and strategic planning processes. Manage annual operating plans, executive offsites, and company-wide planning cycles.
- Support the President in board preparation, investor readiness, executive communications, and strategic initiatives.
- Identify and resolve organizational bottlenecks and execution challenges.
- Lead special projects and enterprise initiatives on behalf of the President.
Team Leadership & Organizational Development
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operational team with clear goals, accountability structures, and development plans.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop future leaders and succession plans across the organization while serving as a role model for leadership, communication, and company values.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience with substantial executive-level responsibility.
- Proven experience leading operations, supply chain, finance, HR, and enterprise transformation functions within a high-growth consumer products, beauty, fashion, luxury, or CPG organization.
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow oversight.
- Deep expertise in operational scalability, supply chain management, and organizational development.
- Experience leading cross-functional strategic initiatives and enterprise transformation programs.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive influencing skills.
- Demonstrated success building high-performing teams and scaling organizations through periods of rapid growth.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
