Operations Supervisor---Day Shift (5 AM-3:30 PM M-Th) Working in Woodward's Industrial Product Segment in Fort Collins, Colorado, the Operations Supervisor will be responsible for leading and managing frontline teams to meet daily production targets and achieve operational excellence. This role involves supervising team performance, allocating resources effectively, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure customer expectations are met. The Operations Supervisor acts as a key point of contact for problem resolution, employee development, and process optimization, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and efficiency. Estimated annual base pay: $80,000-$120,000. Resource Management: Allocates and coordinates resources effectively to meet operational objectives. Performance Management: Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback, manages member development, recognition and ensures accountability and policy adherence. Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves day-to-day technical and operational issues and coaching and mentoring team's problem-solving capabilities. Process Improvement: Collaborates with key stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness to improve the production system and meet customer demand. Key Skills: Leadership: The ability to guide, motivate, and inspire teams to achieve goals while fostering collaboration, accountability, and a positive work environment. Computer Skills: Strong skills in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for operational reporting. Ability to analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP. Basic understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) for inventory and production scheduling Emotional Intelligence: The ability to recognize, understand, and manage your own emotions while effectively perceiving and responding to the emotions of others.
