PET CARE TECHNICIAN

Rustic Acres Pet Lodge located in Clyman, Wi, is seeking a hardworking and compassionate individual with a love for animals to join our team. We are looking to fill positions for our daycare and lodging programs. Daycare shifts are Monday-Friday, 6:20 AM-5:30/6:00 PM Lodging shifts are seven days a week, 6:00 AM-11:00 AM and 3:00 PM-8:00 PM Job Duties Record care instructions as directed by pet parents Accurately feed and medicate pets in our care as instructed by their owner Monitor group play of various breeds and sizes of dogs Laundry, dishes, kennel sanitization, vacuuming, and other general cleaning duties Answer emails, phone calls, voicemails, and Facebook messages Take payment by cash, check, and card Ensure a safe, clean, and loving environment for all pets in our care Requirements Must be available to work weekends, early mornings, and evenings Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds and over 50 pounds with a co-worker Endure sitting, standing, and walking on hard floor surfaces for extended periods Ability to be confident around dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes Must be able to multi-task and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment Must have great communication skills Must be a patient and compassionate person Must be able to work independently and stay on task Must have reliable transportation and be punctual Candidates with previous experience working with animals in a professional setting will take priority.
