Position Overview Registered Nurse – PACU Department, UW Medical Center – Montlake. Schedule Full time Day/Evening shifts Ten hour shifts Primary Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is a licensed practitioner who uses the nursing process to provide patient care. This includes exercising independent nursing judgment in managing the care of patients with complex health problems and collaborating with patient, family and other healthcare providers/disciplines to optimize the patient’s return to health and promote independence in self‑care. The RN supervises and coordinates the work of ancillary healthcare personnel. Requirements Current unrestricted WA license. One year of recent ICU or ED/ER experience or prior PACU, Phase I, and Phase II experience. ACLS certification required. Registered Nurse License – WA State or valid multistate RN license. Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when legal requirements apply. Compensation Pay Range Minimum: $46.97 hourly. Pay Range Maximum: $86.17 hourly. Other Compensation: $5.00/hr nights, $4.00/hr weekends, $3.00/hr evenings, $1.25/hr Nursing Certification, $1.00/hr BSN Premium.
