Job Details Job Location: FLA-Leesburg Corps - Leesburg, FL 34748Position Type: Temporary Full TimeJob Category: PropertySchedule/Hours: (Temporary dates: October 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026) Monday – Friday, 6am – 3pm This position is responsible for: Performing routine building maintenance activities and grounds keeping work to ensure the beautification of the landscape and buildings; Assembling and moving office furniture including chairs, desks, tables, bulletin boards, etc.; Picking up and delivering miscellaneous as needed. Key Responsibilities: Performs routine repairs and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and vehicles. Drives truck in order to pick up materials and repair items needed for maintenance work. Maintains all tools, supplies, parts, and equipment belonging to the Maintenance Department. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to perform heavy lifting. Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. Ability to drive a vehicle in heavy traffic and extended trips. Ability to spend the night away from home due to extended trips. Work requires driving a vehicle and working outdoors daily with exposure to physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU High school diploma or G.E.D. AND Two years experience operating an automotive vehicle, OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Licenses and Certifications: Valid state driver's license. Food Handler Certification. *This position requires a level 2 background screening.
