About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Active Illinois license required Certifications: ACLS and BLS required Must-Have: Interventional cardiac cath lab experience Description: Please review submittal instructions and provide answers upon submission within submittal notes. Position requires a Cath Lab RN with a minimum 1 year of experience. First-timers are accepted for this role. Clinician will be required to work 2-3 weekends per contract. On-call participation is required as needed. Floating within scope to meet facility needs is mandatory. Must have prior experience in interventional cardiac cath lab procedures. Required procedure experience includes circulating procedures, diagnostic catheterizations for adults, left heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring and right heart catheterization. Experience in procedural sedation administration and monitoring is necessary. Must have skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, along with monitoring procedural sedation. Cerner experience is required for this position. This role is based in an acute care hospital and the facility holds Magnet status. Total staffed beds in the facility are 562. A parking permit may be required during employment, but there is no cost for parking. Candidates must be prepared for background checks as part of the hiring process.
