Accounting Clerk

Job Details: Job Location: 151 MCQUISTON DRIVE - BATTLE CREEK, MI 49037, Salary Range: $22.19 - $24.60 Hourly, Job Objective:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide accounting support to Gallagher Uniform with a heavy focus on A/P work
• Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
• Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
• Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
• Daily entry of key data of financial transactions
• Provide assistance and support to company personnel
• Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
• Contact customers via phone with outstanding invoice balances, as necessary
• Constantly update job knowledge

Qualifications: Qualifications & Educational Requirements:

• High school graduate; degree in accounting or finance related field preferred
• Proven accounting or finance experience
• Attention to detail and organization skills
• Aptitude for numbers
• Computer Proficient with MS Office, databases and accounting software
• Good phone demeanor and customer service experience
• Bill.com knowledge preferred
