Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification for a night shift assignment.

Details

• 13-week assignment with night shift schedule, Friday through Sunday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• CT Tech unit supporting Adult Acute Care and Adult Outpatient settings
• Performs CT imaging of abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, head and neck regions, with and without contrast
• Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT equipment along with PACS system
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Floating required to other areas, including other facilities within a 75-mile radius

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT (R)(CT) and BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis and chest CT with and without contrast
• Spine and musculoskeletal imaging experience including cervical, lumbar, and thoracic regions
• Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media and starting peripheral IVs
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and proper PPE use
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level II experience preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Maximum of 5 days of RTO allowed per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO accepted
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Former facility employees must have at least 1 year of separation from the organization to be eligible
• Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
• Two supervisory references required for consideration
