Barton Staffing Solutions is hiring Industrial Sewing Machine Operators for a manufacturing facility in Romeoville, IL .
If you have experience operating industrial sewing machines and enjoy hands-on production work, this is a great opportunity to join a growing team with long-term potential.
Position: Industrial Sewing Machine Operator
Pay Rate: $20.50
Shift: 2nd Shift
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
Status: Full-Time
Location: Romeoville, IL
Overtime: Required as needed Job Responsibilities
* Operate industrial sewing machines and CNC cutting equipment to manufacture parts according to specifications.
* Use an RF scanner and basic ERP systems to track materials, inventory, and finished products.
* Create and apply labels accurately.
* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
* Report defects or production issues to the Production Lead or Quality Department.
* Move raw materials and finished goods between worktables, conveyors, and machines.
* Clean, label, and package finished products.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
* Assist with training new and existing team members on production processes and best practices.
* Complete required production paperwork accurately.
* Follow all machine safety procedures, company policies, and emergency protocols.
* Perform routine equipment maintenance as required.

* Previous experience operating an industrial sewing machine is preferred.
* Ability to use an RF scanner and navigate basic computer/ERP systems.
* Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Reliable attendance and ability to work a full-time schedule.
* Willingness to work overtime when required.
* Ability to perform additional duties as assigned
* Ability to work an 8-hour shift standing .
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required.
* Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements.
* Ability to hear and observe machine operations for safety and quality purposes.
* Ability to wear all required PPE, including safety glasses.
