JOB DESCRIPTION

John Boos & Co. , a trusted provider of high-quality, performance driven equipment and workspaces that have inspired home cooks, chefs and foodservice industry workers for generations, is accepting applications for a part-time  Retail Outlet Warehouse Associate for our Retail Outlet Store.

SUMMARY

Responsible for supporting the operations of the Retail Outlet Store and handling the movement, organization and loading of merchandise.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Management:

• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality.
• Record and track inventory using warehouse management systems.
• Organize and store inventory in designated locations, ensuring items are easily accessible.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stocking.

Order Processing:

• Prepare and pack orders for shipment or delivery to the store floor.
• Ensure all items are picked accurately and packed securely.
• Label and tag products as required.
• Load and unload store merchandise.

Store Maintenance:

• Maintain a clean and organized store and warehouse environment.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.

Customer and Store Support:

• Assist store associates with stock replenishment and product retrieval.
• Handle returns and exchanges, processing according to store policy.
• Provide support during peak times or special events as required.

Administrative Tasks:

• Complete necessary documentation and data entry related to inventory and shipments.
• Collaborate with the store and warehouse team to address any issues or discrepancies.
• Perform other duties as required.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

High School Diploma Required

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Previous warehouse or retail experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including rotating Saturdays.
• Ability to move heavy objects of 50 lbs. or greater and operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
