The Role
- Provide multi-site leadership for two co-located teams (specialty and 24/7 emergency), aligning operations, client service, and culture
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and retain hospital support staff; lead ongoing training and performance reviews
- Build efficient schedules for administrative and technical teams; manage timekeeping and overtime oversight
- Drive financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, revenue growth, and expense control
- Oversee purchasing, inventory management, vendor relations, and facility maintenance
- Ensure accurate accounting, deposits, billing practices, charge capture, and invoice processing, including W-9 collection
- Develop and implement SOPs, compliance policies, and quality standards
- Support client relations, including service recovery and escalated case resolution
- Collaborate closely with doctors and specialty services to support high-quality patient care and smooth case flow
- Maintain licensure records for clinical staff and uphold regulatory and safety compliance
- Provide flexible availability, including some weekends and holidays, to support 24/7 operations

Requirements
- Bachelors degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- At least 5 years of hospital or clinic management leadership (veterinary or medical setting strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated financial acumen, analytical ability, and strategic planning skills
- Proficiency with office software and practice-management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication; proven ability to build trust, teamwork, and accountability
- Comfortable working around animals and clinical environments; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; periods of standing/walking or computer work as needed
- License to practice in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain) where applicable to the candidates clinical credentials
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Desired: CVPM or MHA; experience with insurance contracting, compliance, and quality improvement
