PartTime Dental Assistant

On-the-Job Training Available Cambridge Oral Surgery is seeking a personable and motivated dental assistant to join our team on Thursdays and Fridays. We are a single-specialty practice specializing in oral surgery. We are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive and professional environment, and we’re looking for someone who shares our commitment. As an oral surgery assistant, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding care to our patients. You will assist our doctors and clinical team during examinations and surgical procedures while helping ensure a smooth, comfortable experience for every patient. No prior experience is required—we offer comprehensive on-the-job training. You will receive hands-on instruction and mentorship, with the opportunity to transition into a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) role within approximately 6 months. Responsibilities Assist oral surgeons and clinical staff during examinations and procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms Take intra-oral, Panoramic, and CBCT radiographs Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment Provide excellent customer service and patient communication Qualifications Friendly, professional, and compassionate demeanor Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable with oral care and dental procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to multitask Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Enjoys hands‑on learning Willingness to learn and grow within the role Compensation $20 - $28 hourly #J-18808-Ljbffr Cambridge Oral Surgery
