The organization is seeking a Technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology Laboratory at a healthcare facility. This position involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures utilizing fluoroscopy equipment, Epic electronic medical record system, and MERGE hemodynamic system. The role requires a high level of technical skill and adherence to clinical standards to support patient care.

Job Details

• Position: Technologist - Interventional Radiology Laboratory
• Location: Wenatchee, WA
• Schedule: Days shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must have prior Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology experience; WA state Radiologic Technologist license; graduate of approved program in radiological or cardiovascular technology; certification from ARRT, RCIS, Certified Interventionalist (CI), HRE, or RCES; BLS and ACLS certification
• Essential Functions:
  • Use of fluoroscopy equipment, Epic EMR, MERGE hemodynamic system within the labs
  • Accept patients and assess their condition for proper handling and requirements
  • Orient patients to lab environment and procedures
  • Use extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and disease processes for proper positioning and imaging
  • Maintain fluoroscopy equipment, contrast injectors, and other lab equipment in proper working condition
  • Perform clerical duties including verification of information and exams using Epic and PACS systems
  • Update and modify exam descriptions to reflect actual procedures performed
  • Properly charge all medical/surgical supplies used during procedures
  • Set up required equipment according to standards; prepare and scrub procedures using sterile technique
  • Record hemodynamic readings per standards and comply with departmental protocols
  • Keep applicable standards, protocols, and skills current in accordance with organizational policies
