Tax ManagerOur client is a well-established owner, developer, and manager of affordable and mixed-income residential communities across the United States. With a mission-driven approach to community development, the organization has built a strong reputation for creating quality housing while maintaining operational excellence and long-term financial sustainability.Manage the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax filings for partnerships, corporations, and related entities.Manage 3 Tax AssociatesOversee tax compliance processes for a large real estate and affordable housing portfolio.Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors.Review tax provisions and support financial reporting requirements.Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess business impacts.Support tax planning strategies and identify opportunities to optimize tax positions.Ensure compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) and other affordable housing tax regulations where applicable.Assist with tax audits, notices, and inquiries from taxing authorities.Partner with accounting and finance teams on entity structuring, acquisitions, refinancings, and other strategic transactions.Develop and improve tax processes, controls, and documentation.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
