You should be adaptable, possess a wide range of technical skills, and demonstrate the ability to understand financial services business requirements. You should be a strong ‘utility’ type programmer with the ability to switch context quickly and efficiently with project managers, database engineers, technical operations and other platform personnelResponsibilities:Design, develop and maintain code based on reading and understanding business and functional requirements following the Agile processProduce high-quality code to meet all project deadlines and ensuring the functionality matches the requirementsAnalyze and resolve issues found during the testing or pre-production phases of the software delivery lifecycle; coordinating changes with project team leaders and cross-work team members.Provide technical support to project team members and responding to inquiries regarding errors or questions about programsInteract with architects, technical leads, team members and project managers as required to address technical and schedule issues.Suggest and implement process improvements for estimating development and testing processesRequired Qualifications 8+ years prior work experience working with Database access methods and SQL constructs8+ years of experience in Java, Spring MVC and/or Spring Boot.3+ years of experience in with Archival and Purging of Data.3+ years of experience with integration with Job schedulers3+ years of experience with Build & Deployment tools such as Maven, GIT3+ years of experience in Leading teamsPreferred Qualifications Worked with streaming technologies such as KafkaWorked on UI technologies such as AngularDemonstrated a commitment to quality, writing unit tests with Junit and MockitoProficiency in Analysis, Design, Build, and Deployment of Java applications and MicroservicesA desire to continue to learn and pick up new technologies and skillsGood to HaveExperience with container-based deployments such as Kubernetes, Docker, Docker Compose, Vagrant is a plusWork experience with any of the following – PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Linux/UNIX Shell Programming, Python is a plus Experience within Financial Services industry including banking, wealth managementNTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is $96,800.00 to $145,200.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
