JOB DESCRIPTIONPurposeThis standard defines the Manufacturing Controls Engineer Job Description.ScopeThis standard applies to the Clanton plant of AdientResponsibilities and duties: Design, develop, and supervise electrical control systems, equipment and machineryInstallation and technical support of PLC hardware and software. Programmable knowledge in Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC's.Assist with needs assessment for computer and software requirements in all areas of the facility.Assist with PLC and PC training as required.Designs, codes, tests and debugs simple programs. Maintains and documents programs.Assists higher level programmer/analyst/engineer with design work.
