Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN, Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patient response during surgeries.
• Maintain sterile environment and prepare the operating room prior to procedures.
• Assist surgeons during operations using instruments and sponges.
• Prepare patients pre-operatively including collecting medical history.
• Advocate for patient safety by adhering to best practices and protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotation requiring 1-2 evenings per week and weekends.

Qualifications

• Current RN license; compact license preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required.
• Proficiency with Epic charting system.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
• Experience with ortho, general, gyne, and podiatry surgeries.
• Ability to respond to emergency codes and provide conscious sedation monitoring.
