Our Archdale facility produces premium upholstered furniture, and we're looking for an experienced Master Scheduler to help keep production running efficiently and on schedule.

What You'll Do

As Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules for our Fine Upholstery operation. This role works closely with Manufacturing, Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure production goals are met while maintaining efficiency and service levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master production schedule
• Coordinate production requirements with manufacturing leadership and selling departments
• Support production planning for company promotions and customer demand
• Monitor production performance and schedule attainment
• Analyze inventory levels and WIP to support efficient operations
• Maintain accurate planning and scheduling information within ERP/MRP systems
• Assist with capacity planning and workload balancing across departments
• Track production metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Support SKU management and product retirement recommendations when appropriate
• Maintain a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and production constraints

Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years of production scheduling or production planning experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with ERP or MRP systems
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work across departments

Preferred

• Upholstered furniture manufacturing experience
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar ERP systems
• Knowledge of capacity planning, inventory management, and production forecasting
