.NET Web Developer

Overview Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled .NET Web Developer to join their team. As a .NET Web Developer, you will be an integral part of the IT department supporting critical system modernization projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization. Responsibilities Participate in refactoring the PROTECT case management system, focusing on moving processing from the client to backend and middleware layers. Collaborate with a core team including existing DAIT team members and IT contractors to modernize legacy applications. Develop and maintain APIs such as SOAP and REST, ensuring seamless integration and data exchange. Work with database technologies like SQL Server in hybrid on-premise and cloud environments. Contribute to server-side event-driven programming and handle event management efficiently. Qualifications At least 6 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with emphasis on back-end development using .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, and Entity Framework. Experience working with SQL Server databases in hybrid environments. Strong background in server-side event-driven programming and event handlers. Experience developing APIs such as SOAP and REST, along with stored procedures and batch processing/queues. Current Wisconsin residency; remote work within Wisconsin is required.
