Speech Language Pathologist - Part Time - Days

Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping patients improve their communication and swallowing abilities. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results Provide speech therapy services to patients with various conditions, such as acute care, ICU, and critical care Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and develop comprehensive treatment goals Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Educate patients and their families on techniques for improving communication and swallowing skills Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately and timely Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech, language, and swallowing functions Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Skills Acute care Case management Patient care ICU Speech therapy Hospital Critical care Patient assessment Anatomy knowledge Physiology knowledge If you are passionate about helping patients regain their communication abilities and thrive in a hospital setting, we encourage you to apply for this position.
