Job Description Job Description Local CPA firm seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Payroll Specialist to provide payroll processing and bookkeeping support for multiple small business clients in a fast-paced public accounting environment. ** Responsibilities ** Payroll processing and payroll reporting assistance Organizing financial records and client documents Assisting with monthly bookkeeping and accounting workflows Supporting tax preparation and client requests during tax season ** Qualifications ** Payroll experience REQUIRED Bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred QuickBooks experience REQUIRED Strong organizational and multitasking skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Professional communication and attention to detail CPA firm or small business accounting experience is preferred Knowledge with bookkeeping and data entry a plus Knowledge with bank and credit card reconciliations a plus ** Position Details ** Part-time position Approximately 15-20 hours per week Flexible schedule In-office position located in Ashland, VA Compensation based on experience Growth opportunity available for the right candidate ** Ideal Candidate ** The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced accounting environment while supporting multiple clients and deadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
