Overview Provide Quality Care and Leadership in Washington Wine Country! Responsibilities Serve as Medical Director for the Yakima NICU . This role comes with a $35,000 annual leadership stipend and provides the chance to guide a vital regional program serving rural families across South Central Washington. The Medical Director will maintain a full complement of core Neonatology clinical duties while also providing administrative and strategic leadership to support the growth and stability of the practice. Recruitment & team development Quality initiatives and program development Business and operational oversight Community and regional representation About the Practice MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital (MYMH) is home to a 15-bed Level IIIA NICU serving as the regional perinatal center for Yakima County and several surrounding counties. It is the only Level III NICU within a 70‑mile radius, providing indispensable support to multiple rural and critical access hospitals. 2500 deliveries annually ADC of about 5 patients Currently offering conventional mechanical ventilation and bubble CPAP Speech/Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapists provide consultation, neurodevelopmental assessments, and recommendations for developmentally supportive therapies. Qualifications BE/BC in Neonatology 3–5 years of experience Benefits and Compensation Pay Range (Base Pay) : $300,000 - $320,000 Other Types of Pay : $35,000 medical director stipend. Eligible for discretionary practice physician bonus. Regular full-time is classified as team members who are consistently scheduled and work 30 hours or more on a weekly basis. Paid Sick Leave : Eligible full‑time team members will receive a lump‑sum grant of 70 hours or eight days, whichever is more beneficial to the team member, of paid sick leave each year on January 1. A newly hired full‑time team member will receive a prorated lump‑sum grant after working for 90 days. A lumpsum grant will then be provided on January 1 in each subsequent year as long as the team member remains eligible. Unused sick leave granted under this policy does not carry over from one year to the following year. NOTE: The Company will not pay team members for unused sick leave upon termination of employment.
