Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor and Delivery

Location

Little Falls, MN | Labor and Delivery / LDRP

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shifts | Rotating Day/Night schedule (switches every 3 weeks) | 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an LDRP setting including Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Triage, and Med/Surg Peds when census requires
• Titrate drips including Pitocin, cardiac drips, Heparin, and sedation medications as ordered
• Monitor and read fetal and telemetry strips; collaborate with ICU and charge nurses on complex strip interpretation
• Follow AWHONN staffing guidelines (1:1 during induction, 1:2 Postpartum)
• Float to Med/Surg Peds during low OB census periods
• Adhere to a call/standby requirement with a 1-hour response time

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• Experience in both Labor and Delivery AND Med/Surg or Pediatrics
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates who have worked full-time, part-time, or PRN at any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility (including CHI and/or Dignity) within the past year are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Critical access hospital experience
• Familiarity with GE Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) systems and Philips telemetry monitors
• Comfort with respiratory therapy equipment including vents, CPAP, BiPAP, high flow, and Airvo
