Accountant

We're seeking an experienced Accountant to support financial operations and reporting activities for a growing organization. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, supporting month-end and year-end processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This is a fully onsite position. Remote or hybrid work is not available. Only candidates currently located in or willing to commute to the Quad Cities area will be considered. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to support business decisions Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal controls Collaborate with internal teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and audit activities Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of accounting or finance experience Public accounting experience preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Specialized Recruiting Group Quad Cities
