Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Overview Part and Full-time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign-on bonus This position is referral eligible and currently qualifies for a NEW hourly location differential in addition to standard shift and holiday differentials. Location: University Hospital Shift: FT Days Hours: 8AM - 6:30PM M-F (1 rotating day off). Requires 2-3 weeknights of call per month, 1 weekend of call per quarter, and 1-2 holidays per year. The Adult Academic Health Center radiology department serves a high acuity and multidisciplinary patient population in a fast-paced and innovative environment. Radiology Nurses provide support in all areas of radiology including Interventional Radiology, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and more. They provide hands-on care for patients undergoing a wide range of imaging procedures and are responsible for patient assessment, monitoring, providing moderate sedation, and much more. Qualifications/knowledge/skills/abilities Requires Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. Why Join IU Health?
