MRI Technologist | Evening Shift

Position Summary Maintain protocols as directed by the MRI Coordinator/Lead(s). Perform and maintain daily check‑ups and quality control on MRI scanners required by American College of Radiology (ACR), the state Department of State Health Services and other credentialing organizations as required by law. Perform IV insertion when contrast is needed following proper guidelines established by OSHA. Identify each patient and review exam paperwork with the patient; obtain appropriate medical history. Confirm that all images are sent to PACS per policy and procedures and verify tech notes and required documents have been successfully transmitted to PACS. Desired Professional Skills and Experience Graduate of a recognized, approved AMACo Council of Education program in radiological technology. Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT). Current BLS certification. Demonstrated ability to perform intravenous injections with proficiency. Excellent communication and patient‑care skills.
