Metro Detroit MRI Technologist Full Time

$10,000 sign‑on bonus. Responsibilities Ensure patient safety and perform high‑quality MR studies on site and/or remotely. Pre‑screen patients for contraindications and aseptic injection technique; supervise remote MR technologist assistants when required. Produce high‑quality diagnostic images and operate multiple MR systems as needed. Effectively communicate with radiologists, team members, patients, and customers—addressing concerns, solving problems, and managing conflict. Train, orient, and mentor new technologists, patient coordinators, and MRI technologist assistants on site and/or remotely. Perform other duties as assigned and work at multiple locations, traveling locally as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; ARRT (R), ARRT (MR), or ARMRIT (or equivalent experience) required. State medical license (if applicable), valid CPR certification, and valid driver’s license (if applicable). Minimum 3 months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience or enrollment for more than 6 months in an accredited MRI training program. For RT(MR) or ARMRIT positions, no prior experience is required. Ability to work at several locations and possess strong customer service, organizational, and multitasking skills. Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. Registry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT. 1 year of Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience. Physical Requirements More than 50% of the time: sit, stand, walk; repetitive movement of hands, arms, and legs; see, speak, and hear to communicate with patients. Less than 50% of the time: stoop, kneel or crawl; climb and balance; carry and lift, including moving non‑ambulatory patients from a sitting or lying position for transfer or examination.
