Job Title: Laboratory Analyst

Location: Lodi, CA 95240 (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Month Contract (Possible conversion to FTE)

Working Model: Fully onsite

Pay Rate: 25.44$/hr. On W2

Job Summary

The Laboratory Analyst will support Bulk Buffer, Reagent, and Bead production laboratories in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role performs routine laboratory and production activities while following cGMP/cGLP requirements, SOPs, safety procedures, and good documentation practices.

The position is well suited for an entry-level laboratory professional with hands-on experience in laboratory operations, manufacturing, sample preparation, or basic analytical testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bulk buffer formulation and reagent preparation according to SOPs.
• Support bead dropping using a beadulator .
• Load and unload beads from a lyophilizer .
• Perform bead sieving, aliquoting, and labeling .
• Conduct routine pH and conductivity testing .
• Use basic laboratory equipment such as analytical balances/scales and pipettes .
• Complete accurate, real-time documentation in accordance with cGDP/GMP requirements .
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, and established scientific/operational procedures.
• Monitor laboratory equipment and escalate equipment or process issues to leads/management.
• Maintain laboratory housekeeping, inventory, reagents, supplies, and PPE.
• Safely handle hazardous chemicals and follow applicable EHS procedures.
• Identify defects, deviations, or issues and escalate appropriately.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Complete all required training on time.
• Perform other laboratory/production support activities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED + 1–2 years of related experience , OR
• Associate/Technical Trade Degree + 0–1 years of experience .
• Ability to follow cGMP/cGLP, FDA, and ISO requirements .
• Ability to read, understand, and follow SOPs and work instructions.
• Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, email, and SAP .
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
• Ability to work safely with chemicals in a controlled laboratory environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology , or related field.
• Experience in a GMP/ISO-regulated manufacturing or laboratory environment .
• Experience with buffer/reagent preparation .
• Experience with pH and conductivity meters .
• Experience using analytical balances/scales and pipettes .
• Experience with lyophilization, beads, or bead processing .
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and modified schedules.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand for several hours and perform repetitive arm/wrist movements.
• Ability to move heavier materials up to 400 lbs. using appropriate equipment assistance .
• Ability to work in a controlled laboratory/manufacturing environment.
