Pipefitter Apprenticeship

We are seeking motivated individuals who are interested in building a long-term career in the skilled trades. As a Pipefitter Helper, you will assist experienced pipefitters in installing fire suppression sprinkler systems in commercial construction projects, including apartment buildings, senior living facilities, hotels, restaurants, and other commercial properties.

Assist with the installation of fire sprinkler systems

Move materials and equipment throughout job sites

Hang hardware and supports

Cut pipe, ceiling tile, and ceiling hardware

Use hand tools safely and effectively

Follow directions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople

Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Travel to various job sites as needed

1-2 years of construction or landscaping experience.

Ability to read a tape measure and experience using hand tools

Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required

Typically, four 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday

Overtime available based on project needs

Additional Friday hours may be required

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sauk Rapids, MN.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $37.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
