The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on mechanical systems.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipmentDiagnose mechanical issues and conduct repairs on equipmentRead and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematicsMaintain accurate maintenance records and logsRespond quickly to equipment malfunctions and production downtimeRequirementsBe able to communicate verbally and in writing to effectively transmit job information to othersBe in good general health and must be medically certifiable to wear respiratory protection equipmentBe physically able to perform job dutiesAbility to perform job duties with a minimum of supervisionPossess ability to observe record and analyze shipping and receiving information and decide proper course of actionDemonstrate the ability to operate a fork lift.Demonstrate the ability to move drums on and off palletsMust have good general knowledge in computer useBe able to pass a test on shipping hazardous materialsThe Evonik Group adopts an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) approach.
