Work schedule is between 7:00 am to 5:30 pm (and will fluctuate), Monday through Friday

Easterseals Florida is seeking an Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team in our newest program, The School for Limitless Learning. With its play-based curriculum and inclusive approach to education for children who are neurodiverse or have other related disabilities, this new private school represents a significant milestone in our community. The Early Childhood Educator Assistant is dedicated to providing essential support in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 3 years old.

A snapshot of what you'll do:

• Provide a positive, safe, stimulating, and inclusionary learning environment
• Assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities
• Assist in recognizing, adapting teaching strategies, and addressing the individual needs of each child
• Collaborate with the lead educator to maintain open and effective communication with parents and families

Qualifications:

• National Early Childhood Credential (CDA/NECC) preferred
• Successful completion of the Florida Department of Children & Families 45-hour Child Care Training in early childhood education
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
