QA Engineer

We’re not rockstars or ninjas, just a team of developers working to make life a little easier for doctors and their patients. Our platform, built on a Ruby on Rails API with AngularJS and React front-end, helps our clients manage appointments, track drug inventory, send reminders, and handle insurance claims. We deploy on AWS and are continuing to scale. We're looking for a QA Engineer to help us grow and strengthen our infrastructure, streamline our development processes, and support our engineering team. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities that will keep the work engaging and provide continuous opportunities to grow and develop your skills. Learn more about us: See our open source contributions: What You'll Do Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand requirements and define test plans. Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases for web and API applications. Identify, document, and track software bugs, ensuring clear communication with developers. Participate in code reviews and sprint planning to advocate for quality from the start. Define and improve QA processes, tools, and metrics as the team and product scale. What We're Looking For At least 2 years of QA or software testing experience. Solid understanding of testing methodologies, QA processes, and defect tracking. Experience in manual and automated testing. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where you’ll wear multiple hats.
