Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL development, database performance tuning, and data integration. The ideal candidate will have experience developing complex database solutions, working with large data sets, and integrating Oracle with modern data platforms such as Snowflake.

This is a Full-Time, On-Sight employment opportunity based in Plano, TX or Cary, NC .

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions.
• Develop and optimize stored procedures, packages, functions, cursors, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
• Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning, including execution-plan analysis, indexing, and query optimization.
• Develop solutions for data maintenance, migration, copy, reconciliation, archival, and purge activities.
• Build and support Oracle-to-Snowflake integrations, data movement, transformations, and validation processes.
• Troubleshoot database and data issues and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and application performance.
• Translate business and data requirements into scalable technical designs and database solutions.
• Develop automated tests and follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) and engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development and database standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, application developers, data engineers, architects, and QA teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Communicate delivery status, dependencies, risks, and technical issues effectively across teams.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
.    A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline. 
• 9+ Years of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development experience.
• Strong expertise in SQL, Stored Procedures, Packages, Functions, Cursors, Transactions, Triggers, and Exception Handling.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and execution plans.
• Experience developing complex SQL queries and processing large-volume data sets.
• Strong understanding of relational and transactional databases and database design principles.
• Experience with data migration, maintenance, reconciliation, archival, and purge processes.
• Good understanding of dimensional modeling and Star Schema concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated database deployment.
• Strong hands-on experience across analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, and production support.
Good to have
• Good to have Snowflake integration or Oracle-to-cloud data platform integration.
• Exposure to cloud and modern data engineering platforms.
• Experience supporting high-volume, business-critical enterprise applications.
• Financial services or other regulated-industry experience is a plus.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $83,900.00 $115,400.00.
