Assist jockeys with riding gear and trainers with saddling horses. Help with unsaddling horses and returning equipment after races. Arrange saddles and pads to ensure proper weight for races. Perform additional services as requested by jockeys. This description is not exhaustive; team members may be asked to perform other duties as needed. Ability to work in various weather conditions. Maintain professional appearance standards. Other duties as needed. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. Language Skills: Ability to read, interpret, and communicate in English; multilingual skills preferred. Mathematical Skills: Basic operations, ability to use computer and calculator. Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve problems. Certifications: Must qualify for licenses/permits per regulations, including Ohio State Racing commission. Valid driver’s license required with acceptable driving history. Physical Demands: Must stand, handle objects, reach, talk, hear, and lift up to 75 lbs. Reasonable accommodations available. Team members must be drug-free. Work Environment: Exposure to fumes, chemicals, dust, mechanical parts, electrical hazards, and moving objects. Must work in various weather conditions. Noise level moderate.
