Role Description The Marketing Intern role at Studio Zo™ Pilates is an internship position in a hybrid work arrangement based in Lorton, VA, with some tasks that can be completed from home. The intern will assist with day-to-day marketing activities, including supporting social media content creation, helping with email campaigns, and updating promotional materials. This role will involve conducting market research, gathering customer insights, and tracking campaign performance to support marketing strategy decisions. The intern will help with in-studio promotions, events, and outreach to local partners, as well as assist with customer communication and basic sales support. The position offers hands‑on experience in a wellness‑focused small business environment with opportunities to contribute ideas and learn from the studio’s team. Qualifications Strong Communication skills, including clear writing and professional verbal interactions with clients and team members. Ability to perform Market Research to identify audience trends, local opportunities, and competitor activity. Basic understanding of Sales and comfort supporting membership inquiries, studio promotions, and class package conversations. Knowledge of Marketing Strategy, including interest in social media, email marketing, and community outreach. Customer Service mindset with a friendly, patient, and solution-oriented approach in a studio environment. Interest in health, wellness, fitness, or Pilates is highly beneficial. Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Comfort working in a hybrid setting, with reliability to be on‑site in Lorton, VA as needed.
