Job Summary:
Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery Department located in Glendale, Arizona. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for new mothers and their babies in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. Candidates are required to bring their current RN license on the first day of assignment.

• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, a temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Experience in the clinical area for which he or she is applying is desired. Minimum one year experience in an acute care hospital setting, including within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. Professional certification preferred.
• Additional Information: Employees working at behavioral health or skilled nursing facilities must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of hire and maintain it throughout employment. Employees at specific locations may require additional state-specific fingerprint clearance cards.
