Overview The University of Cincinnati College of Nursing invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level. This 9‑month faculty appointment includes teaching across two primary academic semesters with protected research time, which may be increased based on external salary support. The appointee should have a sustainable program of research and a strong commitment to advancing nursing science and education. Essential Functions Develop and maintain an active, externally funded research program Publish regularly in high-impact, peer‑reviewed journals Submit extramural grant applications (NIH, HRSA, PCORI, foundations, etc.) Teach at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels based on expertise and program needs Mentor students, postdoctoral fellows, and others appropriate to rank Present research at regional, national and international conferences Provide service to the College, the University, and professional organizations Report to the Associate Dean for Research and PhD Education Required Education PhD in Nursing or related field Required Experience Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research evidenced by strong publication record in peer‑reviewed journals. Candidates for a tenured appointment should demonstrate intellectual leadership and impact on the field and potential significant contributions to the department, University of Cincinnati, and wider scholarly community.
