Assignment Overview

Seeking a Registered Nurse with expertise in Oncology for an outpatient cancer care service. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient infusion, be comfortable administering chemotherapy agents, and have the ability to manage adult oncology patients efficiently.

• Floating Requirement: Will float to three infusion centers: Christ, South Suburban, and Trinity

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other oncology treatments
• Manage long-term IV antibiotics, injections, and blood and platelet infusions
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Draw blood from ports for lab tests

Qualifications

Required:

• 1 year of outpatient infusion/oncology experience
• BLS certification
• ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification
• Chemo administration experience
• Proficiency with peripheral IV, Port-a-Cath, and PICC line access

Preferred:

• Experience with EPIC EMR system
