Work Environment

The role is onsite at our San Bernardino outpatient facility, where you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Our office operates from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, which allows for a structured yet dynamic work routine. The environment is designed around patient engagement, allowing you to focus entirely on delivering exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop tailored treatment plans that cater specifically to the diverse needs of each patient based on thorough evaluations.
• Administer effective therapy sessions, maintaining a patient load averaging one patient per hour, and ensuring high-quality, individualized treatment.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that improve each patient's functional mobility and reduce pain.
• Educate patients and family members on therapy techniques, home exercise programs, and preventive measures to encourage participation in their healing process.
• Consistently evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Accurately maintain comprehensive records of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress using EMR software, such as WebPT.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey to foster independence and confidence in mobility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This allows you to apply your knowledge of advanced therapeutic techniques and exercise programs tailored to assist a wide range of patients—from athletes to elderly clients needing rehabilitation. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping them achieve improved physical health and well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with preference for a Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in the field to practice in California.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California, with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Solid foundation in manual therapy techniques and exercise program design.
• Proficient in the use of EMR systems, specifically experience with WebPT or similar platforms.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients and healthcare teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, ideally with a focus on rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to design evidence-based treatment plans.
• Experience in managing a diverse caseload with varying degrees of complexity in rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
