Job Description Job Description City Produce started in 1958 as a retail produce store in Fort Walton Beach, FL, specializing in premium fresh fruit, vegetables, specialty foods, and dairy. We work every day to drive consistency in the areas most important to our customers: Customer Service, Quality, Food, Safety, Reporting, Technology. Essential Functions: Locate and select the specific warehouse items to fulfill the customer’s order Load and unload items using machines, carts and dollies Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks Perform visual inspections of orders to ensure accuracy according to quantity, size, etc. Wrap orders before loading on trucks Maintain equipment and report on equipment malfunctions Comply with all applicable company policies, procedures, OSHA and Food Safety regulations Ensure cleanliness and good housekeeping of the specific production line and surrounding general area throughout the shift Competencies: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work with others in a team environment Strong Interpersonal skills Active listening skills Innovative and creative thinking Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent Must be able to read, speak, and write English satisfactorily, bilingual a plus At least 1 year of recent and successful experience performing the above functions in a significant manufacturing or warehouse/distribution environment.
