Step into a dynamic educational environment in the Wylie, TX area and provide vital psychological assessment services to elementary students. This contract opportunity runs from August 3, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering a structured schedule of 37.5 hours per week. As an itinerant professional, you’ll visit elementary campuses and focus solely on assessments—no counseling responsibilities, as each school has those resources covered. Expect to conduct three to four evaluations weekly, allowing you to engage deeply with students while maintaining a sustainable workload.

Desired Qualifications:

• Hold an active School Psychologist license in Texas
• Strong background in school-based psychological assessments
• Experience working with elementary-age students
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple sites
• Outstanding communication skills to deliver clear findings to educational teams
• Comfort functioning independently in various campus settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for elementary students only
• Complete 3–4 assessments per week following district and state guidelines
• Collaborate with on-site teams to interpret assessment results and support student planning
• Maintain precise, confidential records and reports
• Travel between assigned elementary schools as required by the itinerant nature of the role
• Participate in meetings as needed to share test data and support recommendations
