Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor Freestanding ER Full-Time, Night shift (7pm - 7am) . During orientation will rotate through all shifts (Days, Mids, and Nights). Values and promotes collegial working relationships within and among disciplines Communicates effectively and supports production of an environment of mutual trust Experience: Requires a minimum ofone yearof Registered Nurse clinical experience Education: BSN or Associate Degree RNs that are within one year of completing their BSN Completion of revised Charge Nurse Workshop within the first 90 days of employment License: Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN. Certification: BLS from American Heart Associationrequired upon start Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Exhibits leadership ability that fosters teamwork and retention. Demonstrates professionalism and ability to remain calm and lead in dynamic and busy situations. Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office and healthcare software required. Strong problem-solving capabilities and prioritization; can serve as a resource and mentor to other clinical staff on the unit. Emergency Room Nurse Supervisor Preferred Qualifications: Prefer candidates with 2 years plus of ED RN experience.
