The facility is a community hospital with a variety of services. The nurse will manage a patient load with ratios of 5:1 and 6:1. The environment is fast-paced, with a high volume of admissions and discharges. The nurse will utilize equipment such as IV pumps and EHR systems. The patient population includes adults to geriatrics. Good communication skills are essential to succeed in this role. The ideal candidate is a team player and a self-starter. Responsibilities include providing care to patients with conditions such as COPD, diabetes, and post-operative needs.
