You'll perform all job responsibilities with a sense of ownership and team approach. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:Store Lead Operations:Applies experience and knowledge to support the Store and Department in Manager's absenceLeads a team in efficient day-to-day operations and a constant workflowDelegates / directs work; assists with setting department-related expectations (e.g., ORT, wrap, safety, sanitation, 5s); motivates Partners; may coach and/or provide feedback; may help with department work schedulesTrains new partners on production processesEnsures compliance with company, Store, and department policies and proceduresAssists in all technical areas such as scanning, as neededHandles Customer, Partner, and sanitation issues according to guidelines; escalating to management as neededTroubleshoots / reports equipment issuesEnsures adequate levels of product and supplies for day-to-day operationsServes as a central contact between the Manager and other Production Team PartnersPerforms Department and cross-functional duties as neededRole models / fosters excellent customer serviceProduction:Responsible for ordering product and ingredients for production area; assists with loads, unloads, and moves productExecute and ensure compliance of Fresh Production PlannerEnsure all production processes are followed to minimize shrink and ensure quality controlEnsure tag to tag integrity for production planogramsEnsure First In / First Out and dating of salesfloor items & bulk production process is followedEnsures wareroom and wrap areas are organizedFood Safety / Sanitation:Practices safety awarenessOversees production area sanitation standards are metEnsures compliance with department SOPsCleans and sanitizes sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipmentComplies with department / Store operating procedures and federal / state regulationsQualifications & Key RequirementsAge Requirement:18+Work Experience:6+ months of related experienceExperience working in a fast-paced, high volume environmentKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Strong working knowledge of assigned department(s) or area(s)Understanding of basic financial workings of assigned department, and how to drive profitabilityAdvanced customer service skillsStrong verbal / written communication and interpersonal skillsConflict resolution and influencing skillsPC skillsAbility to provide feedback on department proceduresAbility to be flexible in adjusting prioritiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasksAbility to work a flexible scheduleProficiency in Scanner and Business Center duties and skillsEducation:Completion of job skills training, compliance-related training, and divisional orientationLicenses/Certifications:Physical Demands & Working Conditions:Function in a fast paced, retail environment, in detailed and precise tasksWork with Customers, staying attentive to their needsSafely maneuver around moving mechanical partsConstantly reach at waist, graspFrequently stand, walk, and use fine motor movementsOccasionally reach overhead, reach at shoulder, reach at knee, reach at floor, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, climb stairs, pivot, twist, pinch, and push / pull with armsFrequently be exposed to hot (non-weather) conditionsOccasionally be exposed to cold, wet (non-weather) conditions, and loud noiseDemonstrate the ability to lift 50 lbs, and manage in excess of 50 lbsWhile there may be exceptions, the measurements noted are generally defined as - Constantly: 5.5+ hours per 8-hour day; Frequently: 2.5 - 5.5 hours per 8-hour day; Occasionally: 0 - 2.5 hours per 8-hour dayIt is the responsibility of each individual Partner to never lift beyond their own safe lifting limit.
