Make a positive impact in an elementary school setting by supporting students’ speech and language development this fall. This contract opportunity offers hands-on experience with a dynamic caseload, providing leave coverage at a thriving elementary school. Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant will help ensure continuity of services for a diverse group of young learners. The assignment begins as soon as possible and is expected to continue through mid-October, with the potential for extension based on ongoing needs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and active SLPA license in Missouri is required
• Prior experience working within a school setting, especially with elementary-aged children, is highly valued
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families
• Comfortable managing a caseload in a fast-paced school environment
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to the full contract duration
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs of the school community

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language support to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Assist with implementing IEPs and documenting student progress
• Collaborate with educators and families to support student goals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records as required by the district
• Participate in team meetings as needed

Additional Details:

• Hours: 37.5 per week, standard school schedule
• Assignment is on-site at one elementary campus
• Start as soon as possible and work through mid-October
• Fingerprinting and credentialing requirements must be completed swiftly to ensure timely onboarding
