If you enjoy tackling challenges while having the opportunity to go above and beyond, you will feel right at home.What You'll Be DoingTroubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment using multi-meter, hand tools, and computer softwareCreate documentation for equipment and/or trainingRepairing and maintaining MIG welding equipmentReading of schematics (electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic)Document changes to schematics/update in AutocadRepairing equipment on an as needed basisNetwork systems communications through IP addressLead improvement projects for equipment updatesSupport maintenance PM program with technical knowledgeUse of knowledge and understanding of basic welding fundamentalsShielding gas type and ratiosCircuit continuity confirmationCalibration of voltage, wire feed rate, and gas flowUnderstanding of weld fume health impactAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and safe mannerWhat We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical or manufacturing engineering and 12 years of related experience in an industrial manufacturing environment OR 20 (or more) years of related experienceWhat Sets You ApartUnderstanding of safety proceduresUnderstanding of complex PLC instructions and function block usage, able to troubleshoot and make changes as needed (experience with Omron, CJ/NJ, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc PLC's preferred)Working knowledge of complex electrical controls and circuit analysisWorking knowledge of safety controls including light curtains and safety scanners.Able to connect and troubleshoot safety PLC/devices and repair/replace as neededWorking knowledge of variable frequency drivesBasic knowledge of robotic applications with PLC integrations (Motoman robotics experience preferred)Where and When You'll WorkThis is an in-person role located at our Greene, NY location—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.This position will have unscheduled overtime to complete assigned jobs to ensure meeting of production goalsWhat Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:Salary - $106,880 - $135,000 per year.
