Nutrition Aide - Food and Nutrition - Part Time

Food Service Position
To be an active member of the Food & Nutrition team, to provide the best possible food service to patients, employees, staff, and visitors.
At least 2 years of high school with the ability to read, write and comprehend written and oral communication.
Cash register/POS experience desirable.
Demonstrates a friendly, pleasant, and outgoing manner to patients, visitors, and staff.
Answers the telephone promptly and identifies department and self.
Assembles food items and stocks their station according to tally sheet and inventory needs.
Portions food items according to daily menus, standard items, and portion control.
Operates POS/cash register in an efficient manner and demonstrates an awareness of handling money correctly.
Calculates total monies received and compiles daily register reports.
Scrapes and washes all dishware according to department sanitation procedures.
Transports food carts to and from designated areas on patient floors in a safe and timely manner.
Collects all trash in the kitchen and cafeteria.
Scrubs and sanitizes all pots and pans and places them in the designated area.
It is understood that this description is not intended to be all-inclusive and that other duties may be assigned as necessary in the performance of this position.
Pay Range $17.47 - $24.26/hour, DOE
